Rugby enthusiast, emlyon alumnus Grégoire Potier has covered many sites on the world map along his educational and professional journey. From his native La Réunion to school life in New Zealand and then secondary, Bachelor's and Master's studies in France including time in Brazil, Morocco and Peru, his path has been far-reaching and the next stop is Australia, to start his career. These far-flung destinations are part of a carefully considered plan to forge an international career in logistics before joining the family business based in La Réunion, run by his father and brother.

Pursuing a burgeoning career, following a demanding Master's program, and answering the call of a wife and mother…. such has been the triple-challenge faced by two emlyon alumnae, Marie-Aline Bourdon and Nadia Issad. They recount the highs and lows of their personal, professional, and educational adventure, and suggest ways in which life could be made easier for others having to perform the same juggling act.

The French CEFDG (Commission d'Évaluation des Diplômes et des Formations de Gestion) has approved the extension request of the Global BBA of emlyon, a higher education degree in international business administration, to the Lyon-Ecully site. The same CEFDG also renewed its “grade de licence” (bachelor) for 4 years.

In such an unprecedented context, the new executive management of emlyon business school is getting ready for a back-to-school season under the banner of novelty, in line with the School's Early Makers' strategy. As of September, students can participate in activities and modules on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), in order to learn about the social and environmental challenges, and to find out about four new professionalization programs.

emlyon business school and the Cours Florent are announcing the launching of their Bachelor of Arts in Acting & Entrepreneurship, allowing future students to develop their artistic and entrepreneurial skills. This unique Bachelor pairs both institutions to create an innovative program in English, not only providing for an internationally renowned theater training, but also the development of managerial competences.
