Social Inclusion
emlyon business school implements programs aimed at making higher education more accessible to disadvantaged or isolated populations. These actions aim to overcome self-censorship among students by developing their ability to explore all possibilities in order to build their path in higher education or their professional integration.
Cordées de la Réussite
Launched nationally in 2008 by the Ministry of Education, the Cordées de la Réussite aim to increase the academic ambition of young people through continuous support in middle school, high school, and preparatory classes. The Cordées de la Réussite seek to make orientation support a real lever for equal opportunities. Students in the Master in Management can get involved through the following three programs developed by emlyon and officially recognized as Cordées de la Réussite:
Trait d'Union Multi-campus, Multiquartiers (TUMM): support for high school students by tutors from the Astuce-lycéens association through various intervention methods, such as the ABC of the Grand Oral to help high school seniors prepare for the baccalaureate exam.
Orientation Culture je m'Active (OCA): making the vocational track a path of excellence like any other.
Orientation Nouveaux Horizons (ONH): supporting high school students from general and technological tracks in rural areas toward long and selective study paths to increase social and territorial diversity in Grande Écoles.

emlyon business school aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the School to make higher education more accessible to students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. To achieve this, the School mobilizes various levers to finance students' living expenses and tuition fees and to support them throughout their studies.

As an essential lever for implementing the School's social openness and inclusion policy, the emlyon business school Foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France since 1993, supports its commitment. Its field of intervention is entirely oriented toward financing concrete general interest projects, centered on human benefits directly for students and in line with the School's values and fundamentals.
Living allowance: support for students in structurally precarious situations
Emergency fund: specific assistance for students in serious and unforeseen situations
Tour de France des oraux: coaching by emlyon students and financial support for preparatory class students to take admission interviews across France
Health and Disability Grant: support for student health
PhD and Research Grant: coverage of reception and tuition fees for PhD students
Entirely dedicated to emlyon students, the emlyon Foundation supports impact initiative carriers and assists those who need it most.
Initiated in 2021, the trEMplin program is part of a comprehensive support system for scholarship students through mentors from the alumni network, from integration to graduation. It is complemented by several actions:

emlyon business school opened an internal CFA in 2020. This model is a powerful lever for students to finance their studies and gain direct access to employment. Five programs are currently offered on a work-study basis via one-year apprenticeship contracts.

OFAJ Scholarship (Franco-German Youth Office) Additional Inclusion amounts are granted to CROUS scholarship students, students with disabilities, or students opting for eco-responsible means of transportation.
The Institut de l'Engagement is an association created in 2012 at the initiative of Martin Hirsch, which identifies young people who have committed to a mission serving the general interest and supports them in their future projects. It allows these young people engaged in Civic Service, European Solidarity Corps, etc. to value their commitment and structure their project. From 2021, the laureates of the Institut de l'Engagement have been declared eligible for the Master in Management’s Admissions on Title competitions, in agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. This approach will strongly value the skills acquired during civic service
A 100% free school initiated by emlyon business school, it aims to provide qualifying training to young people our of work and education , in order to support them in their professional integration path in digital professions. This School particularly responds to emlyon's inclusion mission, which is to contribute to the reduction of social or cultural inequalities and to the achievement of equality between men and women by ensuring access to the development of professional skills for all those who have the motivation. By targeting a local audience in Lyon, Paris, and Saint-Etienne, emlyon thus contributes to the dynamism of its territories.
