Admissions

- Hold, or are currently preparing for, the French Baccalaureate with a specialization in Mathematics, Physics or Science
- Hold, or are currently preparing for, an international qualification recognized as equivalent to the French Baccalaureate, with a specialization in Mathematics, Physics or Science.
Applications for the 2027–2028 academic year are open until July 2027. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the admissions period as they are received.
Application Process
A 100% online admissions process:
- Step 1: Complete and submit your online application.
- Step 2: Once your application has been validated by our Admissions team, you will gain access to the admission assessments. These assessments are completed online through a dedicated platform.
- Step 3: After completing the online assessments, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Jury according to the annual admissions calendar.
Online Assessments
The digital admission assessment for entry into Year 1 is conducted in three stages: a cognitive test, a mathematics and physics assessment, and an asynchronous video interview. Together, these tests evaluate applicants’ organizational, interpersonal, and strategic capabilities.
Everything You Need to Know About Applying
- Applications are reviewed by the Selection Committee only once both the application file and the online assessments have been completed.
- Applicants receive their admissions decision within a maximum of four to five weeks.
- Enrollment must be completed within 10 days of receiving the admission decision.
We strongly encourage applicants to submit their application as early as possible. As places are allocated progressively throughout the admissions cycle, emlyon tech school reserves the right to close applications before July 2027, once the programme reaches full capacity.
Important Information for International Students
International applicants requiring a visa should anticipate the necessary administrative procedures. To ensure sufficient time for visa processing in the event of admission, applicants are strongly advised to submit their application and complete the online assessments before June 1, 2027.
