The graduation ceremony of emlyon business school’s class of 2025 celebrated the remarkable journeys of nearly 340 graduates from the Executive Education programs. It was an emotional moment, marked by commitment and impact, that signaled the beginning of a new chapter in their professional lives.
An unforgettable graduation ceremony at the heart of the Lyon campus
On March 28, emlyon business school organized, on its Lyon campus, a series of graduation ceremonies for the Executive MBA, International MBA, Executive Master in General Management, Global DBA, and PhD programs. An unforgettable moment during which graduates, accompanied by their families and friends, were honored as they celebrated the completion of their academic journey with emotion and pride.
The ceremony opened with warm welcome messages from Sébastien Plouhinec, Executive Director of Executive Masters & Short Programs, and Stéphanie Ousaci, Executive Director of MBA Programs. It was then officially launched by Isabelle Huault, Dean and Executive President of emlyon business school. Nicolas Péjout, Executive Vice President and Executive Board Member, also addressed the audience, praising the participants’ energy, resilience and ambition.

Focus on the Executive Education ceremonies
The ceremonies of the Executive Education programs, held under the banner of academic excellence and global ambition, reflected the diversity of the graduates’ profiles and career paths. Their unique trajectories brought a special energy to this moment of solemnity and professional enthusiasm.
Two round tables highlighted the day, showcasing the achievements, commitments, and perspectives of the graduates.
The first round table, moderated by Brice Dattee and Joonas Rokka, brought together Annelen Schaer (Global DBA – Europe Track), Xiaoming Zhang (Global DBA – Asia Track), and Soumyo Das (PhD), who discussed academic rigor, the impact of applied research, and their professional outlook.
The second round table, moderated by Catherine Pardo and Rhoda Davidson, featured Cristina Cumbo (EMMG), Frédéric Das Neves (EMMG Online), Choukri Karoui (Executive MBA), Lidwine Lavaut (Executive MBA Online), and Michael Sandora (International MBA). Leaders in transition or stepping into new responsibilities, they shared the human and professional transformations made possible through their programs.
