After graduating, Swarun joined DimoMaint in Paris as U.K. & Ireland Account Manager. Even with limited French, he found opportunities in France aligned with his profile.

Most of the multinational companies in France, especially those based in Paris, look for people who speak English... comparatively, the job competition is higher,” he explains. “If you’re new to speaking French and you’re only looking for English-speaking jobs, I would suggest you look for SMB companies with 200 people or less and companies whose target customers are outside of France.

Many emlyon graduates follow similar paths, joining Deloitte, BNP Paribas, McKinsey, L’Oréal, and other major employers.
