The 2026 edition of the ranking highlights the strength and relevance of emlyon’s Executive MBA (EMBA), designed to support experienced executives and senior managers in developing their leadership capabilities and strategic vision.
Among the programmes evaluated, emlyon’s EMBA stands out in particular on the following criteria:
Participants’ professional experience (19th worldwide and 17th in Europe): professionals joining the programme bring extensive experience, reflected in the seniority of the positions they have held, the number of years spent in each role, the size of the organisations they have worked for, and the international dimension of their careers.
Alumni satisfaction (13th in Europe and 4th in France): graduates awarded the programme an average overall satisfaction score of 9.27/10, highlighting the excellence of the programme, the quality of the support provided, and its tangible impact on their professional development.
ESG and net zero teaching (13th worldwide and 12th in Europe): in line with its mission, the School integrates social, environmental and climate-related challenges into its teaching. This distinction reflects both the proportion of core teaching hours dedicated to these topics and alumni assessments of the School’s ESG education.
Alumni network effectiveness (16th in Europe): graduates recognise the value of the network in creating career opportunities, launching start-ups, recruiting talent, and providing access to events and career-related information.
Research excellence (4th in France): this result is based on the number of articles published by full-time faculty members in 50 academic and practitioner journals between January 2024 and approximately May 2026. The ranking combines the total number of publications with a measure weighted according to faculty size.
This latest progression further strengthens emlyon’s Executive MBA position among the world’s leading programmes. Ranked in the global Top 40 since 2023, the programme has shown continuous improvement since 2024 and has achieved an average global ranking of 38th over the 2024-2026 period.
The recognition expressed by our graduates is unequivocal: their level of satisfaction demonstrates the real impact of the Executive MBA on their career paths. The human experience, the richness of the interactions, and the personal transformation all leave a lasting mark. This reinforces our ambition to offer a program aligned with business challenges and the aspirations of responsible leaders.”
