International Desk (BDI) - Lyon Campus
The BDI is the flagship association for the integration of international students from all programs—BBA, MiM, MSc, and exchange—on the Lyon campus of emlyon business school. Each year, the association organizes a dynamic integration week, a highlight for discovering the cultural richness of the campus and meeting people from all corners of the world. But the adventure doesn’t stop there!
The association remains actively engaged throughout the year by organizing a multitude of events open to everyone, in a spirit of sharing and friendliness.
It also aims to allow other associations to be more visible and present to international students, whether through collaborations or simply by advising them, throughout the year, but especially during their themed week—the International Week! The association also highlights the intra-emlyon sponsorship system, "The Buddy System," aimed at facilitating the integration of international students into life in France.
Our Events
A themed week where the entire school—administration and associations—organizes events open to everyone. The goal is to introduce international students to campus life and to inform French students about the international opportunities offered by the school.
A grand international dinner, bringing together approximately 400 people to share typical dishes from different countries. The evening continues with a student party, for a night of dancing and socializing.
Casual evenings in apartments, with about 30 people, where the aperitif focuses on a specific country or culture. A great opportunity to discover specialties!
Karaoke nights in apartments gathering around 20 people, where everyone can sing their favorite songs
A bar-hopping event through Lyon, where international and French students explore the city’s bars together. A festive evening to strengthen intercultural bonds while discovering Lyon.
A cultural day to explore Lyon and its surroundings, featuring guided tours and outdoor activities. An excellent way for international students to immerse themselves in the local culture.
