As part of its international development strategy, emlyon business school continues to strengthen its global academic network through new double degree agreements and student exchange partnerships. The School is announcing the signing of two major new agreements, one with Georgetown University and the other with CEIBS.

An exclusive certificate with Georgetown University for Master in Management students

Through a new agreement with Georgetown University, students enrolled in emlyon’s Master in Management – Grande Ecole (MiM) programme will be able to earn, alongside their emlyon degree, a Graduate Certificate in Competitive Business Intelligence awarded by Georgetown University.

Delivered in an intensive one-semester format, the programme will give students access to a range of specialised courses in competitive intelligence, strategy, and market analysis. Participants will be able to tailor their learning experience by selecting courses from a rich and up-to-date portfolio covering key topics such as Global Competitive Intelligence, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Disruptive Technology & Organizational Change, AI Leadership & Market Analysis, and AI & Data-Driven Decision Making.

Available to students from September 2026, this new academic pathway fully reflects emlyon’s ambition to offer hybridinternational learning experiences closely connected to the realities of today’s business world, in partnership with an Ivy League institution.

CEIBS: a flagship double degree to strengthen emlyon’s presence in Asia

Starting in the 2026 academic year, students enrolled in emlyon’s Master in Management programme will have the opportunity to earn a double degree combining emlyon’s MiM and an MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), one of the world’s most prestigious business schools.

With this agreement, emlyon becomes one of the few French business schools to offer such a pathway, further enhancing students’ expertise and the international recognition of their business education.

Internationalisation lies at the heart of emlyon business school’s strategy. Our ambition is to strengthen our presence across all five continents and, by 2030, welcome one international student for every two students enrolled at the School. This momentum is driven both by the development of our overseas campuses and by a network of leading academic partners, contributing to the influence and soft power of France worldwide.

Accelerating internationalisation

Several other double degree agreements have recently been signed by emlyon:

  • Stevens Institute of Technology, United States: Master in Management
  • SASIN School of Management,Thailand:  Master in Management
  • ESAN University, Peru: Global BBA
  • NUCB Business School, Japan: Master in Management

In addition, nearly thirty new academic partnerships have recently expanded the School’s international reach, benefiting students across the Bachelor, Master in Management and Master’s programs.

As a result, emlyon now counts more than 250 academic partners worldwide across all programmes.

Recent additions include institutions such as Queen’s University Belfast (Ireland), Sejong University (South Korea) and GIBS Business School (South Africa).

This growth in volume does not come at the expense of quality. emlyon’s international network is built on partnerships with leading institutions around the world:

  • 77% of the institutions ranked in the Financial Times Global Top 20 Master in Management ranking are emlyon partners
  • 60% of the world's triple-accredited business schools are emlyon partners
