FT Master in Management: emlyon’s MiM ranks 3rd in France and in the global Top 12 for five consecutive years
For the fifth consecutive year, emlyon business school’s Master in Management (MiM) ranks among the global Top 12 and European Top 10 in the Financial Times ranking. The school’s MiM - Grande École program also ranks 3rd among French Master in Management - Grande École Programs.
emlyon’s Master in Management maintains its international positions
The 2026 edition of the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking places emlyon’s Grande École Program (PGE):
12th worldwide, maintaining the same position as in 2025;
10th in Europe, also maintaining the same position as last year;
3rd among MiM - Grande École programs in France.
These results place emlyon’s Master in Management in the global Top 12 and European Top 10 for the fifth consecutive year. This consistency confirms the program’s enduring position among the world’s leading management programs. The MiM has also moved up one place in the French ranking, securing a place on the podium among Grande École programs in France.
Strong career-related results reflecting the impact of the Grande École Program
The consistency of emlyon’s Master in Management in the ranking is accompanied by particularly strong results on criteria assessed by graduates.
In 2026, the Grande École Program stands out across four key dimensions of the student experience and preparation for professional careers:
Alumni Network: 2nd MiM in France. This criterion measures the effectiveness of the alumni network in providing access to career opportunities, helping graduates launch businesses, recruit staff, gain new ideas and receive information about career-related events.
Career Service: 1st MiM in France. Based on alumni feedback, this criterion assesses the effectiveness of the careers service in supporting graduates in their transition to employment.
Aims Achieved: 3rd MiM in France. This indicator measures the extent to which graduates feel they achieved the objectives that led them to join the program.
Overall Satisfaction: 1st MiM in France, with a score of 8.91/10. This result represents the graduates’ overall assessment of the program.
These results highlight the quality of the student experience and the program’s ability to meet graduates’ objectives. They particularly emphasize two pillars of the Grande École Program: the support provided by the Career Center and the strength of the emlyon alumni network.
Recognition for teaching on ESG issues and the climate transition
The program also achieves leading results in the ESG and Net Zero Teaching Rank, placing 5th worldwide, 5th in Europe and 2nd among Master in Management - Grande École, in France.
This criterion assesses the proportion of teaching hours in compulsory courses dedicated to environmental, social and governance issues, as well as climate solutions that can help organizations achieve net zero. It also takes into account alumni assessments of the school’s ESG teaching.
This performance reflects the importance given to major environmental and social transitions throughout the curriculum, as well as emlyon business school’s commitment to preparing students to incorporate these issues into their professional decision-making.
How is the Financial Times Masters in Management ranking compiled?
The Financial Times Masters in Management ranking draws on both graduate feedback and data submitted by participating institutions:
56% of the ranking is based on an alumni survey conducted three years after graduation. For the 2026 edition, the survey covers graduates from the 2023 calendar year.
44% of the ranking is based on data submitted directly by the schools.
The significant weight given to the alumni survey makes it possible to assess graduates’ experiences, the extent to which they achieved their objectives, the quality of the careers service, the value of the alumni network and their overall satisfaction.
