emlyon business school unveils the second edition of its Engagement report, which reviews actions taken in 2023-2024 and outlines the roadmap for accelerating the School's social and environmental transitions, in response to the challenges of transforming organizations.

As a Mission-driven company, emlyon business school reinforces, through the publication of its Engagement Report, its role as a committed actor serving the public interest. This annual review of the deployment of its social and environmental responsibility (CSR) strategy provides an in-depth look at the progress made by the School during the year 2023-2024, contributing to the achievement of the 10 statutory objectives defined in its mission.
This status, which defines a shared direction for all its actions and is formulated in the School's raison d'être, aims to train and support enlightened people throughout their lives who effectively transform organizations for a more fairer, more caring and that’s respects the planet.

This second edition of the report reviews the key achievements of the year and projects the prospects for development to strengthen the School's impact in terms of social openness, diversity, ecological transition, hybridization of skills, etc. It is based in particular on the findings and recommendations of the 2024 report of the Mission Committee, which ensures the coherence and proper execution of the commitments made by emlyon.
The School's 2024 Engaged report highlights a range of significant initiatives that demonstrate the implementation of emlyon's mission. These highlights reflect the diverse levers the School has activated across its pedagogical, scientific and functional models:
Launch of three new programs specifically dedicated to social and environmental responsibility.
Between 15% and 16% of emlyon graduates (initial and continuing education) now hold positions focused on CSR.
Launch of a fourth research chair, “Hydrogen Transition for the Aeronautics Sector,” in partnership with Vinci.
Launch of the Leadership Academy for New Futures, a federating structure of researchers aimed at supporting responsible leadership among managers and executives, including via a series of conferences.
Creation of knowledge@emlyon, a platform disseminating Faculty research.
Launch of the HITS Institute, focused on the healthcare sector.
Relocation to the new campus, whose location and energy efficiency support the climate plan, aiming for net zero by 2030, and helps strengthen ties with local stakeholders and alumni.
An 18% increase in donations to the emlyon Foundation, which supports diversity and equal opportunity.
20% of students are CROUS scholarship recipients.
Training of staff on socio-environmental issues to foster collective ownership of transitions.
