emlyon announces the appointment of Isabelle Huault, actual President of the Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, as the head of the institution, starting the beginning of the next academic year. This appointment concludes a thorough process led by a selection committee with the support of the firm HRM, involving representatives of all of the school's stakeholders.

Isabelle Huault will succeed to Tugrul Atamer, who will remain a member of the Executive Board.

The journey of an exceptional woman

Isabelle Huault, 53 years old, emlyon graduate (1990), obtained a PHD in management sciences from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (1994), an accreditation to supervise (HDR) in 1996, as well as a teaching aggregation in 1999.

Senior lecturer at the Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin, then professor at the Université Paris-Est-Créteil Val-de-Marne and Panthéon-Assas Paris 2, she then teaches at Paris-Dauphine from 2005 onwards.

The future President of the Executive Board of emlyon business school has held several management positions at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL over the past 15 years: first director of the doctoral school of management, then of the mixed research unit in management Dauphine Recherches, she is in turn appointed vice president in charge of a mission concerning the management of the teaching staff by Laurent Batsch in 2015. In December 2016, she is then elected as President of the university.

During her 4 years as the head of this educational institution well recognized in the field of organizational and decision sciences, (it is a member of Conference des Grandes Ecoles (CGE) as well as the Conference of University Presidents (CPU), Isabelle Huault enabled Université Paris Dauphine-PSL to take a leading role next to ENS in bringing together the 11 component institutions of Paris Sciences et Lettres.

She also increased the international influence of the institution by initiating numerous partnerships and alliances and by developing campus' abroad, but also by using creativity as a driver to implement new digital programs, and to support educational innovation and social responsibility.
