Cheer Up ! - Campus Lyon
Cheer Up! emlyon is a student association that supports young people between the ages of 15 and 25 who are suffering from cancer in carrying out personal projects. Every week, volunteers from the association visit patients at the Léon Bérard Center in Lyon and the Lyon Sud Hospital.
Cheer Up! emlyon is unique in that it establishes a one-to-one relationship between young people and patients, who are too often isolated during treatment. Volunteers offer to support young people in carrying out a personal project, with the conviction that giving them the opportunity to fight for their project is giving them the means to fight cancer! These projects can take various forms: a ski trip, a spa weekend, a city break, support with a professional project, etc. Cheer Up! adapts to each person's wishes as they meet.
