MTCI Research Day 2026 : explorer la recherche aux frontières du numérique
Last week, emlyon business school welcomed around 50 researchers for the MTCI Research Day 2026, a full-day event dedicated to cutting-edge research at the intersection of marketing, technology, and society.
Held under the theme “Research at the Edge of the Digital World”, this edition featured five high-quality presentations addressing key contemporary issues related to social media, consumer privacy, and artificial intelligence:
- Arvin Moazemi (Bocconi University, Milan) — Brand Echo Chambers
- Olesia Nikulina (ESCP Business School Madrid) — Visual Texture as a Driver of Consumer Responses in Digital Media
- Alex Bleier (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management) — Optionality in Consumer Privacy Decisions
- Armin Granulo (LMU Munich School of Management) — Public Perceptions of AI and Democracy
- Isabelle Engeler (HEC Lausanne) — Next Frontiers in Synthetic Market Research
Organised by the MTCI Research Center (Marketing, Technology and Customer Insights), the event reflects the Center’s mission to advance rigorous and impactful research at the crossroads of marketing science and emerging technologies.
Beyond the excellence of the research presented, the event fostered rich scientific dialogue, with engaging discussions, valuable audience interactions, and opportunities for future collaboration.
emlyon business school extends its sincere thanks to the invited speakers for their insightful contributions, as well as to all participants and the organising team for their commitment to the success of the event.
We are looking forward to the next MTCI Research Day edition.
