Inside the Finance & Consulting Forum 2026

Over these two days, more than 25 companies welcomed students: consulting firms such as Accenture, Capgemini Consulting, Wavestone and EY Parthenon; audit and advisory firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY and Forvis Mazars; and banks and financial institutions such as BNP Paribas, Société Générale, Crédit Agricole CIB, Lazard Frères and Bpifrance. 

The emlyon alumni, as always, answered the call! Around 30% of the recruiters on site were graduates of the school. Some had landed their own final-year internship at a previous edition of the Forum, while others enjoy coming back to campus to meet the new generation and spot their future recruits. 

To mark the occasion, an alumni café brought graduates together in a welcoming setting. A chance to reconnect between interviews, share their career journeys, and strengthen the ties that make the emlyon community network so valuable. 

“The Finance & Consulting Forum marks the start of a new year of employability events for our students. This edition takes place in a space redesigned for the occasion, to provide the best possible conditions for meetings and exchanges between students and companies,” explains Quentin Thivillier, Head of Corporate Partnerships Development at emlyon business school. 

The Forum was decked out in the colors of emlyon’s new visual identity, designed to embody the maker spirit: combining boldness and elegance to give the brand a strong personality. 

The catering area was redesigned and relocated to offer participants a cozier break space, ideal for recharging over a coffee or lunch between conversations. 

Another new feature was the us of digital CVs through a new Career Center platform designed to make document sharing paperless. This year, students could meet companies without a paper CV. They simply uploaded their CV to the platform to get a personal QR code for recruiters to scan directly. The solution also makes it easier for companies to track and organize the profiles they met. 

This event is part of a responsible and committed approach, in line with the school’s commitments, promoting diversity, inclusion and the well-being of all participants. 
Beyond the usual eco-responsibility commitments (zero paper, reusable equipment, responsible catering, etc.), emlyon’s “Social & Environmental Engagement” team ran a stand dedicated to CSR issues. Its mission: to give students the keys to identify truly inclusive companies (on gender equality, LGBT+ and disability), and to know which questions to ask recruiters about diversity and inclusion. This matters all the more as these topics are not always raised spontaneously in the finance and consulting sectors. The criteria of an inclusive company presented included: non-discriminatory recruitment, equal career paths, pay equity, inclusive culture and practices, committed leadership, and accessibility and disability. 
Disability, being the leading cause of discrimination, prompted many questions: recruitment processes, RQTH procedures (France’s official recognition of disabled worker status) and possible accommodations.
