The ChangeNOW x Les Échos 2025 ranking once again highlights emlyon business school’s commitment to ecological and social transition: the School ranks 4th among 27 business schools and remains the only institution consistently in the Top 4 since the ranking was created.
A lasting recognition of emlyon’s intrinsic commitment
In the 5th edition of the ChangeNOW x Les Échos ranking, emlyon business school ranks 4th ex-aequo, alongside Audencia, behind ESSEC, ESCP, and Neoma. This result illustrates the consistency of the School’s social and environmental strategy, aligned with its unique status as a Mission-driven company, expressed in its purpose: to educate and support enlightened people throughout their lives who transform organizations effectively for a fairer, more inclusive, and planet-friendly society.
The School stands out in two key areas:
Institutional strategy and exemplarity: 1st (with ESSEC, ESCP, Neoma, IÉSEG)
Academic excellence and employability: 1st (with HEC, ESSEC, ESCP)
emlyon is the only school to appear in the Top 4 since 2021, reflecting its pioneering role in training for environmental and societal challenges. The School has profoundly transformed its teaching model to systematically integrate skills related to social and environmental responsibility (CSR). All courses are now assessed against the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the proprietary ‘SDGs Inside’ methodology, created and implemented by the School’s Faculty. This system positions each course within a framework of 35 CSR competencies linked to the 17 SDGs, enabling content adaptation and enrichment to meet ecological and social transition challenges.
Additionally, every program includes core courses on sustainability, ensuring all students receive training aligned with global challenges and organizational expectations.
