emlyon business school and the École normale supérieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon) officially announce their cooperation and academic exchange partnership.

On July 07th 2021, emlyon business school and the École normale supérieure de Lyon (ENS de Lyon) signed off a Memorandum of Understanding aiming at undertaking common actions serving their respective student populations.
Students from the Grande École Program of emlyon business school will be able to access a macroeconomics program at the ENS de Lyon, and students from the ENS de Lyon, will be able to access courses in mathematical finance at emlyon. This exposure to other domains, will allow them to develop analysis skills and a systemic understanding of social, economic and organizational issues.
Both tracks pave the way to the creation of other hybrid programs in domains of expertise the two institutions are renowned for. The ENS de Lyon is made of 11 training departments covering hard and experimental sciences, literature, social science and humanities, and 22 research laboratories. It provides teachings based on an interdisciplinarity-open research. emlyon provides 16 expert tracks in management and organizational sciences, and its know-how in entrepreneurship, applied artificial intelligence, and in business and market finance. Several modules are being considered, notably based on management and areal analysis.
This partnership will allow to reinforce academic cooperation and favor crossover approach of scientific issues. It will also provide common seminars and conferences.
This agreement marks the first collaboration between emlyon business school and the ENS de Lyon, which shall soon be neighbors, with the upcoming implementation of the new campus of emlyon in the Gerland district of Lyon.
