Adapting to technological changes is a necessity for businesses. The emergence of new technologies has always brought new challenges, needs, and ways of working. Companies that were slow to respond have often been replaced by more agile players. While most firms have recognized the importance of digital transformation, there is still much to be done to ensure that everyone becomes an active participant. Digital transformation is often presented as a risk - or even a threat - to employees. However, they are given relatively few resources to fully benefit from it. Digital transformation is not inevitable. The effects of emerging technologies on businesses have been studied and theorized for over 30 years.
