The “Pont des 30” Club

Image
Committed emlyon graduates come together to share their knowledge, offer support, and open new horizons for future generations.

Committed alumni are mobilizing to pass on knowledge, provide support, and open new horizons for future generations.

Men build too many walls and not enough bridges.” This quote, attributed to Isaac Newton, inspired an original initiative launched by Romain Peninque (PGE04) and Antoine Delon (PGE99), major donors of the Foundation. Thanks to them—and to the alumni who have joined their efforts—30 talented and deserving young people facing financial hardship receive a €5,000 livingexpenses scholarship.

Our idea was to refresh the traditional, often solemn approach to giving. Within the Pont des 30, we achieve two goals at once: we enjoy dinner among friends, in a relaxed atmosphere, and we support a school to which we owe so much.
Beyond financial support, mentoring almost always follows, allowing us to share knowledge and build stronger bonds.

New initiatives are already emerging. Will yours be next?
