Founded in 1872, emlyon business school is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, making it one of the oldest business schools in Europe. We wanted to mark this milestone by publishing a research volume, as a record of our contribution to science and to higher education over the years. This publication is a tribute to the evolution of research at emlyon and to its constant dialogue with our pedagogical approach, documented proof of a tradition of creativity and innovation.

We have chosen to give the floor to those who undertake this mission on a daily basis. These professors have agreed to tell their stories and share the collective adventure emlyon faculty has undertaken to research and teach while incorporating changes in society, education, and science. We hope that these intersecting and personal stories give you a richer picture of the plurality and diversity of emlyon's professors and the spirit that drives us to develop a pedagogical and research approach rooted in excellence and innovation.
