  • Education and professional experience required: 7 years' professional experience.
Admission requirements: Candidates must complete an application form. The training advisor will be happy to advise you on how to proceed.
For sessions conducted in English, a good level of English comprehension is required.

This course is aimed at employees who are changing or reorienting their careers.
 

Executives, managers or controllers involved in setting up performance management systems and aligning decisions with strategic objectives.

Assesment process

The evaluation is based on group work which, on the basis of shared experience, analyses and recommendations on a performance management topic. Each group deals with a different subject and presents its work to the others, thus covering all the themes covered in the seminar.
Each participant must prepare for this group work with an individual analysis of the performance management system of a company or organisation with which he or she is familiar.
 
  • Attendance at the face-to-face sessions and participation in the various activities are compulsory for the course to be validated.
  • Analysis of a system for measuring the performance of an organisation or business unit (in groups).

Program

  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of different organisational forms
  • Assign decision-making to appropriate responsibility centres
  • Determine the control methods that can be put in place to steer performance and align behaviour and decisions

  • Calculate and break down variances
  • Interpret variances in relation to strategic objectives
  • Identify the limitations of purely financial performance measurement systems

  • Determining performance indicators consistent with the strategy and key success factors
  • Drawing up and adapting a Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard to a given strategic context

  • Identify the effects of performance measurement systems on motivation, decision-making and managerial performance
  • Assess the effects of interdependencies and transfer pricing on managerial performance

  • The integrated approach, which involves allocating decision-making, selecting relevant financial and non-financial indicators (KPIs), and taking account of the effects on behaviour.
  • A varied teaching approach: Concepts are acquired through readings, in-class presentations, case studies and discussions. Analysis of an organisational unit's management system you are familiar with.
  • Sharing experience: You will use and share your experience in a group project on the theme of steering the organisation. You will join a group of Executive MBA participants from a variety of professional backgrounds, enabling rich exchanges between learners
