Our goal is to coordinate, cooperate and communicate all the activities at emlyon across various educational programs, campuses, research centers, incubation and acceleration on everything related to the entrepreneurship, innovation and strategic transformation. We seek to constantly develop our academic and professional capacity to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation.
Entrepreneurship and innovation is our history, it is our present, and it will be our future. We wish to participate to a positive and durable change of our society.
Mission and Principles
Our mission is to provide our students and participants a cutting-edge support in their quest to impactful entrepreneurship and transformative innovations. We achieve our goal through academic excellence in teaching, research and support. Our activities follow the raison d'être of the school, specifically, we aim and provide:
“Life-long training and support to informed individuals able to transform organizations, for a fairer society, with more solidarity and respect for the planet.
This raison d'être embodies the convictions of emlyon:
- Because efficiency needs to be combined with responsibility and humility;
- Because companies and economy need to also provide social and environmental justice;
- Because the transformations to be carried out require science, conscience and audacity;
- We need to find new ways to lead and manage for the common good.”
Therefore, where consistent with our responsibilities, we commit to the following:
- Principle 1: We will incorporate issues related to social and environmental challenges and responsibilities in our activities and processes.
- Principle 2: We will be active stakeholders and incorporate social and environmental issues in policies and practices, taking a stand on issues relative to value creation, and social and environmental justice.
- Principle 3: We will seek appropriate disclosure on social and environmental challenges in the entities we follow and support.
- Principle 4: We will promote acceptance and implementation issues relative to value creation, and social and environmental justice.
- Principle 5: We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles, turning our institute to an innovative platform in terms of diversity and environmental protection.
- Principle 6: We will report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
