ShanghaiRanking’s GRAS 2022: emlyon in the French top 3 in two disciplines

The 2022 edition of the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) was issued by the consulting firm ShanghaiRanking. In this subject-oriented ranking, emlyon business school ranks 2nd in Management, and 3rd in Business Administration in France.
In 2022, 1,800 universities and schools across 96 countries were enlisted and ranked in 54 scientific disciplines, notably in social sciences. emlyon was thus ranked in “Management” and in “Business Administration”.
- Management: 2nd school in France, in a tie with HEC, in the 76 -100th bracket (over 500 international institutions).
- Business Administration: 3rd school in France, in a tie, in the 101-150th bracket.
Isabelle Huault praised such “a beautiful acknowledgment of the high-quality research” emlyon business school continues to demonstrate, and congratulated “the whole of our professor-researchers”.
Method applied for the Shanghai's GRAS 2022:
Only those with enough subject-dedicated publications are considered in this ranking. The research of each institution is assessed according to several criteria (publications, influence, international collaboration between institutions, awards) based on articles published between 2016 and 2020.
