Professor in finance, I am specialized in the study of Merger and Acquisition transactions in the field of financial markets. In this context, my research work focuses more specifically on Public Takeover Bids (PTOs). This has led me to develop two main areas of interest: corporate governance and financial markets. Anti-takeover defence strategies, management rooting, informational efficiency issues and speed of accounting information in market prices are among the subjects that fascinate me.
In addition to publishing academic articles and views in the media on the reforms of the European financial system, I am co-author of a History of Finance: Time, Calculations and Promises published by Vuibert (2007).
