Bio

I am an Associate Professor of Marketing at emlyon business school in France. I earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2010.
My research focuses on the sociology of consumption and consumer culture, transformative consumer research issues such as sustainable consumption/production, sustainable communities, alternative food consumption and tourism practices, and human-technology interactions in alternative markets.
My work has appeared in journals including Journal of Business Research, Marketing Theory, Consumption, Markets & Culture, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Macromarketing and Journal of Consumer Culture; in books including The Digital Consumer and Digital Virtual Consumption and in international conferences including Consumer Culture Theory, Transformative Consumer Research, and Association for Consumer Research.
