Bio

I am an Full Professor of Philosophy and Organization, and member of OCE Research Center (Organizations: Critical and Ethnographical perspectives). Originally from Mexico, I graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure d'Ulm in Philosophy. The ethnography of banking compliance that I conducted for my PHD (ESCP Europe-Université de Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne) won the FNEGE-AIMS best dissertation in Strategic Management award.
My research is transversal, and delves into organizational questions from critical and philosophical perspectives. I rely on my multicultural background and multidisciplinary training to pursue transversal research projects with a strong critical and philosophical focus, relying on qualitative and ethnographic methodologies. My work has been published in leading academic journals including Organization Studies; Organization; Journal of Business Ethics; Gender, Work & Organization and Management Learning, as well as in edited books and press/media outlets. I serve as Book Reviews Editor for Organization Studies since 2017 (now called Media Reviews section), as Research Integrity Editor for the Journal of Business Ethics since 2022, and am co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Phenomenologies and Organization Studies (OUP, forthcoming).
